3 Tips for Printing your Family Photos | Charleston, SC | Charleston Photographer

If I am being completely honest, printing photos is something that I want to do way more than I currently am. Part of that is the space I am in (hello camper life) that has little wall space but also it is easy for me to get overwhelmed with where to start. If you are in the same boat as me (probably not the camper life), feeling overwhelmed and don’t know where to start, here are a few tips to encourage you.

Start Small

When we want to print all of our favorite pictures it can be overwhelming. So instead, pick 3-5 of your favorite images that you absolutely love and print those. That can be from your iphone photos or from a professional photoshoot. Then repeat that process every few months to freshen up your photos.

Replace Photos

Walk around your house and look at the photos you already have printed and framed on your walls. Do any of them need to be updated? It is much easier to print photos for frames that already exist than it is to worry about printing photos and finding the perfect frame. Find those outdated, framed family photos and replace them!

Ditch the Frames

If you are like me living in a small space, or you just don’t want to worry about frames, print your photos and secure them to your wall with tape. In this season of life I am just thankful to have some photos on my walls even if they are just printed photos with no frames! I love it and so does my family, especially my son. I just made him a little gallery wall in his room at the foot of his bed and he looks at them every night. It doesn’t have to be perfect. Sometimes we just need to motivate ourselves by starting.
