Beach Sessions - What I love about them!

Welcome back to the blog! Let me inspire you with the Gitschier Family Photos we did on the beach. After this summer I have come to absolutely love beach sessions! Let me tell you why, check it out below!

Today I am taking you back to the beach on a beautiful sunny summer evening. The Gitschier family and I started in the backyard of their beach home and then made our way to the beach snapping shots along the way!

I love that the beach offers a variety of backdrops all within 1 location. With all of my sessions I always find multiple backdrops within 1 location to add more variety to your gallery. At the beach I love to use the boardwalk, the grass that grows at the edge of the sand, the middle of the beach and lastly the water!

Usually my sessions include young children and so slowly making our way to the water allows them to explore the whole beach before we get there. It also allows for them to get wet if they and their parents want to because it’s the end of the session and if they get wet it won’t ruin their outfits for the rest of the session! They also usually love finding shells and starfish and anything else they think is cool! It is one of my favorite parts of the session, letting the kids explore and capturing their excitement about all they are finding!

The Gitschier family was all adults and it was a lovely change of pace to photograph adults versus children (which I really do love!). And don't worry they loved the beach just as much as the kiddos do! Laughing, dancing and splashing all took place this evening and we had a blast!

The beach is a wonderful place for family photos. It provides not only a beautiful scenery but an abundance of space to run, play and explore. It seems to bring out everyone's inner child as they let their feet sink into the sand and splash through the water. All of the genuine smiles and laughter appear and we get some amazing photos!

Thank you for being here and reading this blog! I hope you were inspired to consider planning your next family photo session at the beach! They are so much fun!!

See you soon,

Morgan
